The women who built the UMASS Boston Dorms

These women weren’t assistants or observers — they were on the front lines of construction. From framing and electrical work to finishing and site coordination, skilled tradeswomen played a vital role in bringing the UMASS Boston dormitories to life. Their work proves that the future of construction is not only strong — it’s inclusive, skilled, and woman-led.
